Thatch development, prevention and management is a major concern for all golf courses. Uncontrolled thatch will hinder moisture, air, fertilizer and water from moving into the root zone and may result in poor plant growth and quality.
We set our gradens to a depth of one-half of an inch and ran them two directions. As you notice in the images below there was a substantial amount of organic material removed. To complete this process it has taken over two days and a number of employees have been needed for the clean up.
