Vertical mowing Fairways
With the course closed for play we took the opportunity to Vertical mow the zoysia fairways at East Lake. Vertical mowing is beneficial in many ways: it removes thatch where water and nutrients may get hung up, promotes more vertical growth which in turn improves the lie of a golf ball and also aids in helping the fairways drain a little quicker, especially with the weather pattern we are currently faced with.
